I'm so excited to be offering ornaments this year! I couldn't think of a more special gift for anyone with a beloved animal in their life. Imagine pulling these out of the ornament box every year at Christmas time- literally they're so special I could cry. Give a gift that's guaranteed to spread joy! Each pet portrait is painted on high quality, heavyweight watercolor paper. My goal is to realistically capture the unique features/personality of your pet while maintaining a loose painting style. Once you’ve purchased your ornament, please reach out via email at macaelamade [!at] gmail.com with a CLEAR QUALITY image of your pet. Feel free to send multiple photos, as well as include details about your pets unique quirks. It helps me “get to know them” and capture them more accurately. You can also include any special requests concerning your order. Please note that I may not be able to fulfill all custom requests.

Your reference photos will determine the amount of detail I can add to your portrait. Soft, natural lighting is best so I can accurately depict colors and highlights. It’s also very helpful if eyes and noses are clearly visible.

Once order has been placed and photo(s) submitted, I’ll begin a preliminary sketch of your pet which I will send within 5-7 business days. Upon approval, I’ll begin working on the final painting. Once the final painting has begun no further changes can be made. Processing time is 2-4 weeks depending on my current work load.

-Ornament is 3 inches tied with a chiffon ribbon color of your choice
-Pet Portrait is painted on Arches Hot Press 140lb paper
-Portrait is encased in the acrylic ornament so it's fully protected on all sides
-please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery as this item is hand painted.
